I’m Catelyn—though most people call me Cat. I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 and began my career in a busy general practice clinic in Melbourne, where I developed a strong interest in emergency and critical care. That led me to complete an internship at an emergency hospital, and I’ve continued working as an emergency vet since then. I enjoy the variety and challenges of both GP and emergency work.

I have a particular soft spot for cats and am always ready to give them a little extra care and attention. At home, I live with two rescue kitties: Uni (Japanese for “sea urchin”), an energetic black boy, and Nana, a sweet white girl—both now living their best lives.

Outside of work, I love spending time in nature, especially walking or hiking through quiet landscapes. I also enjoy watercolour painting, often drawing inspiration from the natural scenes I encounter along the way.
